Europe Day is celebrated annually on May 9th and this year the European Parliament's UK office is marking the occasion with a free Pub Quiz booklet and a nation-wide pub quiz.
Richard said: "The Pub Quiz booklet is a great idea and well worth taking part in down your local. There's a whole variety of questions which range from culture to history and from sport to language. The book also includes a series of special quizzes for school children of different ages.
"It's also a great opportunity for people to learn a little bit more about the EU and our neighbouring countries while enjoying a drink, whether it's a British ale, a Belgian lager, a Finnish vodka or a French wine!"
