Over the last Month our service provider has received a string of legal threats, in what appears to be a coordinated attack different guides that are listed on stopECG are employing British law firms to issue threats of law suits and/or injunctions. In each case the demand is not for modifications or clarifications to our advice, it is for the removal of the site.
So far the threats have come from Novachannel, Construct Data and the European City Guide. It appears that the intent is to silence us and deny the many thousands of businesses that are in dispute with these guides the valuable public service we offer. Without Prejudice and as a gesture of goodwill we are making modifications to the site which will address all issues raised in the solicitor's letters that we have seen. This is no small undertaking, and there will be a period of time when this website has many broken links. We apologize to readers for any inconvenience.
